Drama, Film and Theatre Studies

St. Catherine’s is very excited to be chosen as a pilot school for the new subject of Drama, Film and Theatre Studies. The subject will be offered to those entering 5th year in 2025. Experiencing this subject will help students to develop creative and critical thinking and informed opinions. The subject provides students with opportunities for divergent and even radical thinking, to explore aesthetic experiences, to solve problems and to challenge conventions and orthodoxies.

Assessment

There are two assessment components for this subject:

1. Creativity in Practice Project (50%). This will include a portfolio of work and a recording of the work.
2. Written examination (50%)
