Exchange

St Catherines has a cultural exchange programme with the Otto Hahn Gymnasium in Nellingen, Germany. This exchange programme is open to Transition Year students. Through taking part in the programme, students gain valuable knowledge about another culture and an understanding of life as a German student. The students learn from people who have different points of view and ways of thinking. They also develop tolerance and understanding of people who have different cultural perspectives.

The programme involves hosting a student for one week and then travelling to Germany to spend a week with the students family. The exchange takes place in March/April.
